Basic Specs and Info

Film

Any 35 mm film will work in this camera. Some suggested films to start with are Fuji 200 and 400, which can be found in multi packs. A personal favorite of mine is Kodak Portra 400… but is more expensive than the others, so suggest getting cheaper film until you get the hang of the camera.

Lens Mount

This camera has a Canon FD mount , which should have an A , AE or o aperture setting. This denotes the automatic aperture setting, which is required to take advantage of the Program setting.

Load Film

  1. Lift up the Film Rewind Knob until the rear door opens

  2. Load Film with the spindle pointed downwards

  3. Push Rewind knob back down, until the film is securely in place

  4. Pull end of film over to the film winder

  5. Push film into the winder slot until it locks into place

  6. Push film advance lever forward until the film is secure

  7. Turn Film Rewind Knob until the film is flat against the shutter opening

  8. Close the rear door until it locks in place.
